OK, this was pretty good. Leaving Safeway just now with some shredded mozzarella for lunch keto pizza, I see a lady, wearing a hoody, with a 12" disk of Plexiglas in front of her face, hoody pulled around it like a space suit. I guess it was a COVID thing, hell if I know. Couldn't resist; walked up to her and said "....as a representative of the human race, welcome to planet Earth....". Her comment was "...FUCK YOU ASSHOLE..."......

Just. Priceless.

Imagine what it would have been at Whole Foods.

Everyone should hit the rewind button and see what people were saying and doing back then. I remember seeing a video of some girl in an elevator freaking out when someone wo a mask got on with her. She almost hyperventilated.

I seriously still see people driving by themselves w masks on. Its crazy.

People at work wear masks in the office...

Priceless indeed. I love it! It’s as stupid as people who think a little "second hand" smoke is going to hurt them somehow.

On a side note, I miss Safeway. Was my favorite grocer as a kid. Haven’t had one anywhere close in 50 years.

Here is my favorite Safeway story. We have them here in the DPRM so they are a known product.

A couple years ago we vacationed in Sedona. I sought out a liquor store soon after we got to town and settled and paid stupid $ for a bottle. A day or so later we went to the local Safeway for food and I turned a corner that I didnt the same day as the liquor store visit and found the liquor aisle. Man I felt dumb.

Grocery stores here dont sell alcohol.
