Is there a site that can help identify cigars with pictures? I have purchased cigars in samplers and sometimes I have a hell of a time properly identifying the exact name of the smoke for future reference. Thanks in advance
I usually grab my ruler and measure length first and then go to CigarCyclopedia and use their comparison shopper first to see if there is a match on length. If there is nothing there, I go to Cigar International. Then Google.
So far there have only been a couple that have stumped me good. And if you post a pic of it next to a ruler on here and a closeup of the band. Someone is bound to know what it is.
Our very own Miles Mingus Monk has compiled a very comprehensive guide to the IMPORTANT cigars. These threads are pinned at the top of the Cigar Lounge. Besides being great reference, they're a good read.
edit to add: try Moki's site for a good read as well.

So my White Owls aren't important? I've been harassing Moki to add this picture as reference to his site but he keeps ignoring me for some reason!
