If you like Pepin's, this is a good deal.

Being a huge Pepin fan, I'm very intrigued; however, I'm not quite sure I'm willing to spend 100 bucks on a smoke that could be quite inferior to the Pepin smokes that I generally enjoy. I wonder how these sticks are. If they're any good, then Wurm, you're right in that this would be a great deal especially with the bonus that is being given away.
 
I'm sorry guys but I tried a sample a few months back and thought it was 'okay'. My 'okay' is pretty generous though LOL. I would STRONGLY urge you to do a box split to cover yourself as it could back fire on you. $100 for this stick is a bit steep. I'd rather get a box of DPG Blacks and have $5 left over for a cup at a party :laugh: .

EDIT to add: my disappointment w/ this stick came w/ its flavor (I remember it turned bitter on me), construction was top notch, burned nice and straight and I kind of remember a light grey ash.

These are Pepins through and through... and one of his better blends IMO.

And 100 dollars IS NOT TOO STEEP! for a good Pepin cigar.

I'm tempted, but I have heard little about these nor have tried any. The kicker with this deal is the sampler that comes with it; awfully tempting.

I do? maybe I need to pay more attention to what I post. :laugh: Wurm, have you gone over to Cbid? I'm not 100% positive, but I think you can do better than $100/box. IMO you're better off buying a box of Blacks like I stated earlier, but don't let me influence too much...what do I know? I'm just a kid :sign: . I'd like to get my paws on that little freebie though thats for sure! Nice throw in by CI!

I've pretty much have had tried all sizes on these and IMHO I would say that the Robusto and Petite Corona are the best flavor. These are not bad at all and under $4...my 2 cents!

I've also had all the different sizes, and I like the torpedo best :) I wasn't disappointed by any of them to be honest about it.
 
But bear in mind cbid is still usually much cheaper than CI sales and this is no exception. ;)
