Is anyone really still falling prey to these people? Is there any money left in the Nigerian (or Somalian, or Senegalese) bank wire spam-scam? I mean, come on, people, get a freaking clue, and come up with a new, interesting, more original scam. Hell, a decent scam can be fun and interesting. I mean, cons and thiefs and imposters can even become folk heros like DB Cooper. Or, that guy that Leonardo DiCaprio (sp?) played in that movie. Or {insert reviled political figure from that evil political party or country here]. Even the people that HATE that guy love him a little, or at least admire his [insert the admirable quality of the previously mentioned political figure]. A good scam can bring entertainment value, give the FBI something to do, as well as make the fortunate man-with-a-plan quite a fair bit of scratch...ya know?
Shit, I think I just might becoming an African scammer, just to bring some freakin STYLE to the game.
