I was trying not to ask another stupid question to all the aficionados that are on this forum, but was interested into more of the inside scoop at a understandable level. This is from the web and is a part of the book, Cigar Learning for dummies. To make it even better, they take you from how the leaf is grown, picked, stored, sorted, weighed, mixed and rolled. Best part is some great pictures from the Fuente farm.

What surprised me the most is how the cap is formed (hand made really). For those newbies just starting, and perhaps a few folks that never thought beyond the taste, you might enjoy this.

Gage's Cigars for Dummies is where I got my start. It's still a handy reference. BTW, I've seen a second edition of this book at the bookstore.
