I believe its gonna be a long college basketball season for me and my tarheels guys. Its been tough to just sit back and watch most games this season. Its gonna take alot of alcohol and fine cigarsto get me through this season guys. Please keep me and my fellow tarheel fans in your thoughts. This is rough for us, not to mention unusual.

No not love, were not into that kind of thing like them Wildcats are :laugh: , but sympathy...... yes definitely looking for sympathy!! J/K my favorite player hands down in the pros right now is John Wall, I played against him in high school, and was a slight Kentucky fan during his one year stand there.

I am having a hard time getting into the Wildcats even though I live in Lexington. I never got into the other Wildcats - the Arizona type - while I was a grad student down there, either.

Yeah, yeah. Seems to me that the Wildcats gave a fight worthy of my description. I do not have a venomous hatred of North Carolina basketball (like I do Kansas and Indiana, for example) but I have never really liked Roy Williams...ummm, that Kansas connection may have a role in that odd opinion. Frankly though, all of the big traditional programs are worth a watch every year. Kentucky, Kansas, North Carolina, Duke, Indiana, UCLA....even Syracuse.

Kentucky's youth will give them bumps in the road but don't rule out the 'Cats for a fairly deep run in March.

Your absolutely right, there's no way you could rule them out for a deep run in March. Actually I believe that Carolina and Kentucky has some very similar attributes and issues this season.

I thought he made like 100k playing basketball in Turkey and Calipari thought he would make a great scandal here in America. Kentucky basketball is a time bomb as long as Calipari is there.

We're Buckeye fans up here, but when I want to watch faster basketball I'll watch and cheer for UNC. I like Ohio State's chances this year as 4 out of 5 starters from last year are back. They just have a terrible history of choking in the NCAA tourny.
