My brothas of the Leaf...I am out here in the land of "Paradise" (AKA Dominican) visiting some family. I thought it would be a great idea if it were possible to visit the LFD factory here. Does anyone have any knowledge of the contact information of the La Flor Dominicana Factory here in the R.D.? I can not seem to get any information through my searches.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Let us know how you got on bro..

If you are going to Tamboril, La Flor Dominicana is right there on the side of the road....in its own seperate special trade zone. Most of the factories are in Zona Francas ( Free trade zones). The La Aurora Preferido factory is on the grounds of the Leon Cultural Center. The La Aurora factory used to be right behind, but now it is in Tamboril as well. They do have a gift shop there and the factory is open whenever the Cultural Center is. I forget the days. Have fun.

Mowee...thanks for the guidance bro. I hope to head out there in a few days.

Just wanted to say thanks to Mowee and Anvil for the guidance again. I visited the La FLor Dominicana Factory in Tamboril today and it was like a dream come true for me. Litto Gomez and Francisco greeted me with an incredible humility, as I was basically given a personal tour of a great family factory.

It is no wonder how Mr. Gomez and his family have taken LFD to the top of the industry as seen through their "Quality before Quantity" motto. Seeing first hand how hard work, attention to detail, and nourishing a passionate environment to create a great cigar has given me a deeper appreciation for LFD. They have something really special there in Tamboril and wish them continued success!!

I envy you, Larry. It's so cool that you got to visit the LFD and AF factories.
