I received one of these in my very first trade here at CP and I smoked it last night in honor of benjiev's Dad passing away. With close to a year of humi time on it, it was as close to incredible as a cigar gets.

So my questions regarding this cigar are:

Whats the story behind them? The LFD website has no information on them.

And which of the normal LFD lines comes the closest to the Limitado II?

I want to buy some!

Oscuro Natural wrapper... if you like them, the Oscuro Natural Churchill Especiales might interest you as well. Not the same blend, but sort of similar. The Limitado IIs are still available at places like Jack Schwartz.

In response to the question, can the Dominican Republic produce cigars that boast more flavor than the Vuelta Abajo of Cuba, Litto Gomez responds once again with a resounding yes.

Padron seems like the only cigar maker not in denial...

I’ve really fallen in love with LFD’s stuff myself. It’s interesting that the only people whom seems to know this brand are experienced smokers.
