First Let me Apologize for the quality of the picture. My Girl has the camera and I was relegated to the ole' camera on my phone.
Prelight:
The draw is sweet, but not Sugar sweet, More of a plum Fruit sweet. I can tell the draw is going to be prefect.
Construction:
Dull medium Brown color wrapper
Medium Give when pressured with th fingers
No soft spots, No hard spots
Really nicely rolled
Flat triple cap
Ash is a nice dark marble gray
First Third:
With Flame to foot this cigar lights easily. Surprisingly (due to the Vitola) this is the best drawing cigar I've had in a while. The flavor is starting out with a light Carmel flavor. It's very nice, not very complex but it's developing. the ash is nice and stout. When tapped to the ground it holds it's form.
2nd Third:
As this cigar develops it becomes mixed with a nutty mixture to add to the light Carmel Flavor. When double drawn this nuttiness becomes stronger wilst still being light.
Last 3rd:
The Fruity sweet has developed into a tangy taste. I think it may be the sweet mixing with what is left of the amonia in the reletevely un-aged leaves. In a cigar this light this flavor is actually quite nice.
Conclusion:
I am very Glad that I have multiple boxes of these as they are going to be aging quite nicely in their varnished boxes. Although not terribly complex. This is already a very fine afternoon smoke. I predict that over the coming 5-6 years these are going to develop into very nice light smoke with allot more complexity.
