Had the opportunity to smoke one over the weekend. Great looking little cigar. Very smooth light to medium brown wrapper. Cut perfect with a nice medium pre-light draw which had very earthy flavors.
Once lit it smacked me right in the face with a very strong peppery flavor. As it got to the middle flavor shifted to a smoother, but still strong, pepper with hints of wood. The flavor shifted another time and just never backed off.
For a short cigar, this was impressive. Volumes of tasty smoke. Didn't get hot until the last 1/2 inch. This is the closest taste to a Cuban that I have had in a non-island smoke.
