Even when you rehumidifed the humi? If so I'm really glad for you man! I tought you were toasted.

This tip reminded me to use the coffee bean trick inside my wife's SUV, she smokes cigs and I would like to give her something else to smell other than the Victoria Secret Air freshener/cigarette smoke mix currently going on.
 
another way is to use the carbon rocks. you would find this at your local pet store, it is used for fish tanks mainly.

it will absorb the smell. but it seems like you solved the problem.
