I was referred to this board from a friend from another. I actually posted on here a month back when i recieved a shipment of some unknown cigars (gurabos)! I was trying to find out some info, after a month of searching I have finished the interent, and havent found a single thing on them!

Anyhow, a little bit about me. Been smoking about a year, proud owner of a 1 month old humidor. I started smoking Dominican Cohibas...the yellow banded ones, the ones that are no good. I thought they were great. I think i was wrong...

Thats me in a nutshell, I can tell you more if you really care to know!

I look foward to some good cigar chat.

I got a chuckle out of your Dominican Cohiba comment. From my experience when you first start out just about anything seems great. I can't even believe what I used to love to smoke :0 :p Cigars come and go, tastes change but once you go Cohiba you may never go back ;)
 
Welcome, I think I'm the one who responded to your Flor De Gurabo question, and I think these cigars are only available in the dominican republic, A friend of mine that lives in the D.R. brought these up for me over Christmas. So I don't think they are available Domestically.

Have you had any issues with the wrappers falling apart in the middle of a smoke? And what do you think about their quality?

Well I haven't had those sort of problems but I would also say that I just nip a little tip off of the cap and are yours unravalling from the head of the cigar, if so maybe you are just cutting too much off or chomping down too hard. I'm pretty sure the ones my buddy gave me weren't stored very well, and I also think mine are pretty old. I really don't like them too much but I'm sure it's just cause they seem to have been stored improperly.
