Let's talk wrappers

Can someone please explain the theoretical differences between these wrappers and any others that they can think of. Are there certain characteristics that are prevelant/ supposed to be prevelant in each type? Please include things like strength, aroma etc... Is there a time that you would choose a certain type of cigar/wrapper combo based on things like smoking while drinking, smoking after a meal/before a meal etc...?Please elaborate on why you smoke cigars with the wrappers that they have. Thanks

Marcos, welcome to CP!

It's great that you have an interest in this very important subject, but the manner in which you've presented your question might not get much response. It's like you've plopped yourself down on the couch and are saying, "Okay, I'm here, now teach me."

Don't get me wrong, there are some great guys here that will be happy to share their experiences and preferences. But what you seem to be asking for is an all-encompassing tutorial on cigar wrappers. That would take a LOT of time and it would be completely subjective to the person who's responding because different folks have different preferences/tastes.

I would suggest doing a search (here on CP and on the net) for the answers you're trying to find. You could also post a thread simply asking what wrappers others prefer -- that will probably get you some insight into what others enjoy and why.

Above all, stick around and enjoy the site. You'll learn a lot and meet some great folks!

Like steve stated i can tell you why i like cameroon wrappers but my opinion is of no more value then the guy who likes claro wrappers.

I agree. Smoke all different kinds until you find the ones that YOU enjoy.

I agree smoke them all but make shure that you smoke many of the same type of wrappers from different makers(brand).
