I smoked the Serie R on Friday. I wasn't sure what to think of it. It was the really fat one BTW
The taste was OK. Kinda sickly sweet. Sorta wanted to be good, and I can see why people like them, but I found it to be something I would pay 80 cents for if I wanted a decent sweet yard gar type of thing, if I smoked that kind of cigar.
Overall impression, I would pretty much avoid, just cos there are so many great cigars out there that I like so much better. If it was only one of say four varieties I could smoke, I probably wouldn't mind it though.
Quick note on the Habanos Puros. Flavor was unremarkable but not bad. Smoked about an inch of it. I broke it to get the band off and there was a big 3 inch twig smack in the middle of it. It was gifted so I don't know the price but I think it's safe to recommend to you guys to stay away from it.
