Hi, I have a long time that I do not use my humidor, however The HUMIDOR HYGROMETER is not working correctly, I got another one and treated the box, now after 24hrs it sitting on 50 % 78 Degree. I know that is not good is too high, how can I bring it down to normal 70 degree?

Please start by introducing yourself here. http://www.cigarpass.com/forums/forum/34-introduce-yourself-here/

Then you should try the search function as all your questions for your humi are answered here. http://www.cigarpass.com/forums/forum/21-humidor-forum/

I'd' be more worried about the 50% then the 78f. What type of hygrometer do you have and also what do you mean by treated the box. Take some time and read the seasoning guide and the salt test guide and that may answer your questions or at least get you started in the right direction.

Welcome to CP from southern NH.

Sounds like you need to put it in a cool place in your house and re-season it. Don't mind Paul, he's the Bouncer, I'm the hammer.
