this is my first review, so bear with me.
the shape is triangular, as all of this line. the flawless
wrapper is dark mocha in color, slightly oily, and slightly
toothy(much less so than most cammies)
i punched the cap with my .357 casing and found the
prelight draw to be firm but not tight, very nice. i toast
the foot and release aroma of toasted wheat and nuts.
once fully lit, the flavor is smooth, nice volume of smoke.
the cameroon wrapper is definately there with it's sweet,
spicy flavor, but unlike most cameroons, the flavor is not
completely dominated by it. the filler is actually on even keel
with the wrapper imparting hints of meat and nuts(very
similar to a carlos torano exodus 1959). i was concerned how
this odd shaped cigar would burn, however my fears were
unfounded as it burned perfectly all the way.
the ash and i had a battle of wills as to how long it would get
before dropping. i finally relented at about 2" and flicked it.
the ash was light grey and once dropped had a silky texture.
about halfway through, an odd thing happened. the finish
began to take on a cool sensation, somewhat like mint.
this is how it continued to the nub, with the sweet spicy wrapper
in even proportion to the slightly sweet, meaty, nutty filler with
the interesting cool finish.
i would definately recommend this one, and intend to smoke
more myself.
