I provided some engineering help to one of my customers who expressed their appreciation with this:

68 Macallan 36yo or some such. I had a taste last night. To quote my shipmate, I think I saw GOD.

I am in the wrong business, apparently.

Although, when I used to work at GM, we had the exact same carpet. But I don't think that has anything to do with this topic.

I can't tell if that is the original or the second issue of Jim McEwan's Celtic Heartland Macallan, bottled by Murray McDavid. If original you got a 90+ rated dram there that is now very hard to find and even more expensive then the $270 issue price. If a second issue it still is a hellofa drink. I think that the '68 was the first release

One time a guy came into the store I work at and purchased two macallan 55 year old in cash for 12,000 each I was floored to say the least.

Thanks, Ray. I wasn't able to pin that down. As for 20 buck a swallow hooch, I had NO idea.
