I recently smoked a Mac Rothschild and a Mac Maduro close to the same ring gauge. Both were very tight draws!!! While I am a fan of their thicker 'gars, these were too tight to be truely enjoyable. The burn itself was impeccable as always. The maduro was no more flavorable than the nattie. My suggestion from some one who likes Mac's on the thicker side, don't buy'em small.

I totally agree with you. I quit smoking any Mac years ago, never liked them. Don't plan on giving them any kind of re-try in the future.

You know, If I am going to get a mild cigar, it is going to be a Mac. Never ever had a burn problem outside a tight burn. I have had so many cigars that have had burn problems, or been way too mild. Macs are mild, but that has always been a given. Plus with 6 months in the 'dor, the taste is better...my $.02
