Greetings,
I have a hygrometer that that has a 2 part magnet and one magnet has an adhesive that is not good at all and is not working. At any rate, I forgot about an old website that I have used from time to time called “This To That”. It is a very simple website that allows you to choose what materials you want to bond together and it will tell you what the name of the proper adhesive is. It has the generic name and trade name. So for instance if you want to glue rubber to glass you can choose that by using little drop down windows or you can choose ceramic to Styrofoam for instance and then press the “Lets Glue!” button and it will come up with a list of glue’s that will work with your materials. It has quite a few possibilities and choices and I’m sure that you can find what you’re looking for.
Anyway, I have found this site to be a real lifesaver over the years because it isn’t always easy to figure out the best adhesive for those strange jobs with the weird materials if you know what I mean. Anyway, I hope that this is useful to someone here. Here is the website URL: http://www.thistothat.com/index.shtml
