Major Quake just hit 80 miles off Cal Coast

Northern California just had a major M7.0 quake. We're now getting tsunami warnings for Mexico boarder all the way up the California coast to Canada.

Just thought I'd share...

I have alot of friends and family in the bay area...all are safe, so far.

I cannot believe how screwed up the news is! No one is covering this quake yet. I heard the EBS alert on the tv and that was it. Isn't this "breaking news"?

Finally, almost 1 1/2 hours later breaking news comes on!

flipped thru all the news & weather channels...nothing.
But did see a blurb on the ticker for the news on MJ verdict.
now that's really sad....

claim is six miles deep in the ocean, off the coast near Eureka...tsunami warnings...

but that's Indiana news...

The latest report here is a tsunami advisory
No destructive waves expected just some strong currents
and a slight change in sea level

Hell almost all of the sourthern oregon on the coast is on high ground right now My folk called to say nothing has happen yet :thumbs:
