Been meaning to get around to posting my review of these.
TLDR score: 9/10 (for me)
These are almost perfect for me. Easily smoked within a 45 min window. The burn is near perfect. Every time. I've never had to correct one. Starts off with a little bit of spice and never waivers from that profile. The draw is easy - yet it's a dense cigar. It's not "airy" , if that makes sense. These sticks remind me of the old #2 pencil fights we had as kids. They are dense. Mini-baseball bats. The wrapper is not too perfect....but it's very good. Not silky smooth, but very nice. You don't feel like you have to be careful with these. They never give you the impression that they're fragile. The flavor is good right down to the nub, (may favorite part)
I know it's silly but the band is growing on me too. - I usually remove those before I even fire it up. They come off very easy and you don't feel like you're tearing into a Christmas present in removing the band. (A tiny bonus, but a bonus nonetheless)
And a pig-tail at the end? - Cuts perfect with my $5 plastic V-cutter - every single time. The cap is solid.
Will I order more? - No.
Why? - Because I should have ordered the maduro version - and thought I did - I will not make the same mistake twice.
If my humidor was filled to the brim with only these in maduro, I'd be extremely pleased. Also, if it was maduro, I think my rating would be at least 9.5/10
Yes, I've had better cigars - but not by much. You can score these at very reasonable prices from the Cbid place.
