Somewhere, out there.
I was recently pointed to THIS ESSAY by America's best writer. It's a very interesting read. The 4th paragraph touches on some things we've discussed here many times (and I'm sure moki will really enjoy it ;) ) but the whole thing is relevant. I've taken my signature quote from this work.

I'm sure there are those who have read this many times, but it was new to me so I thought I'd share as it must also be new to someone else.

:)

Samuel Clemens embodied the true American ideal of the rugged individualist. I would have loved to go out on the town with him and Nicky Tesla when they used to whoop it up in NYC. They'd start with dinner and drinks with some fine cigars. Later, if there were no ladies to entertain, they might find a pool table somewhere. At the end of the night, Tesla would insist Sam (and anyone else who was with them) come back to the lab to check out the latest inventions and experiments he was working on. Often He'd leave Tesla engrossed in his work to head home in the wee hours.

Heady times with two of the great minds of all time.

The essay makes you realize things weren't always better in the bygone yore. It sounds like there were many lousy cigars during his time!

Another great essay by Twain.

Thanks for the link!
