NEW YEARS SMOKES
With Christmas just around the corner, my thoughts have turned to what
delightful smoke I'll be tantalising my taste buds with this New Year!
Here are the contenders......
Hoyo de Monterrey Piramides Limited Edition Maduro.
My favourite cigar of the year without a doubt. Delightful dark oily "corona
leaf "wrapper.The sweetest tobacco I have tasted in years.
Full flavour and medium strength. Cool easy draw and pleasant aroma.This
cigar restores my faith in the Cuban cigar industry!

Cohiba Siglo VI
An entirely new factory size (vitola de galera), which will remain unique to
the Cohiba brand, has been created for the Siglo VI . It is called Caqonazo
or Canon Shot and measures 5 7/8" (by 52 ring gauge, the same girth as the
Montecristo No . 2 at its widest point .
This makes it the heaviest girth, straight-sided (parejo) cigar to be made
in Havana for over thirty years .
In line with the flavour specification for all the sizes in the Cohiba Siglo
range, the Siglo VI is rated medium,
although its heavy girth adds a roundness and rich complexity to its taste .

Trinidad Robusto Extra
Only launched in November at the Hilton in London's Park Lane,this
delightful full bodies Havana is already a firm favourite.
Not to be confused with the Fundadores as the flavour is entirely different.
Full flavour and medium full strength with notes of leather and spice from

A large Havana of near perfect construction with a golden brown colorado
wrapper.
