Seriously though, I don't think anybody has ever had as many mistakes in a game after a bye week before. I think it was 18 penalties, 5 turnovers, and a botched punt. And Buffalo still nearly lost the game...

I love football on Sundays, it takes away from the work that will come tomorrow...

Coming back from LOLH and listened to nfl insider to get updates. Heard that Miami and Baltimore were penelized like crazy. I think the Ravens had over 20 penalties.

My Phins looked really bad after the bye week.

Being a part time Bills fan, I'd have to agree. We've had our share of sorrows (with the eventual dissolution of Lossman, and our injury effected defensive line). With that fumble late in the 4th quarter, it looked as though Miami might have had a shot. :0 :0 :0 :0

Some times it gets frustrating watching the Buffalo Bills special "allow" defensive low to get trampled all over. Giving the Dolphins some serious kudos, even with all those penalties, they did capitalize on the fumble immediately with that amazing 3 play turn around to a touchdown.

Especially back in the 60's--not to mention the steroids, methamphetamines and other medical miracles--but they sure were fun to watch!

the league really has to do something about this defensive holding. It is called way to often. Those yellow flags can really kill a game.
