Monte Tubos

Smoking my first from a recent box purchase. I definitely won't smoke any more for a while. I'm no expert but even I can tell these need more time. They have definite potential, but there isn't much there right now.

They are very soft which I don't quite understand..? My humi is at 65% and they have been in there for a few weeks. Should I unscrew the caps to let humidity escape the tubes?

First off, is it a Domestic or Cuban Monte Tubo? I loosen all my caps on tubes that I store in my humis and they age real nice...... :thumbs:

When do you want to smoke it? In the next few years, pr the next few decades? From what I hear, caps on will slow the maturation process. If you want to smoke it soon, take it out of the tube and toss it in the humidor. That my 2 cents.
