I just opened a box of Montecristo Buena Fortuna Maduros from JR's. They have ben in the Fridge for a month before cracking the seal. Talk about a barnyard nose, schoooweeee.... I would venture that this box needs a year before opening again. I wish I would have opened it when I got them. It was a special that included 6 Afriques for a total delivered of $83 or so.
If the rest of the cigars have this nose, the going price of $80 is a steal. $2 a cigar is rediculous. I have smoked 2 boxes of the "naturals" in the lat 2 years with decent results. I am begining to believe that these cigars need over a year to even begin to show anything special.
