After having my MRN book for a few weeks now I am convinced the man is kin to the Devil. This book is pulling me so hard to the dark side I now wander if I will ever buy another full box of none premium domestics again. Very cool interesting ready for the ISOM lover or not, packed full of knowledge and tons of things I didnt know! If you dont have a copy GET one, if you need one the guy I bought mine off of is supposed to get some more soon.

Yeah it's a beautiful cigar porn and info book. Makes me want to storm his house and commandeer his humidors. :)

Cease your self-promotion AT ONCE! :D

I hate to admit, but it's definitely some GOOD stuff. :)

Well I just got an email back from the guy I bought mine off of, He is prestently in Hong Kong on business and met up with Dr Nee while he was there. He said that Dr Nee has no present plans for reprint nor does he have any more copies available. I did see yesterday on a few of the overseas websites that some claim they have a few left in stock. They are selling them at the same price you can get them for statewide, except the shipping would mostly likely be in the $40 range since the book weighs like 7lbs.

What's the full name of the book? I'm very interested, is it available from a publisher here?

AN ILLUSTRATED ENCYCLOPAEDIA OF POST-REVOLUTION HAVANA CIGARS

By Min Ron NEE

It has no ISBN number and isnt published in the US, so you usually have to buy it from an overseas company. Keep in mind the price is around $99 but the shipping can be half again as much as the book weighs 7lbs. They are out of print right now, and getting harder and harder to come by. Dr NEE has no plans for a reprint either.

great book...lots of pics(all the right size).

i disagree with a lot of his tasting notes but agree whole heartedly with his aging recommendations(the older the better, basically).

one cigar i did buy because of this book...erdm tainos...did not have any churchills and dont have much experience with em(not my size)...according to his book this is the best churchill. so when i had a friend going to cuba,in march, i asked for a box of tainos, and got em.very pleased ...if you take a look at the pic( the slb)they are exactly the same colour mmmmmmmmm.

derrek :)
