Still being fairly new to cigars and very new to this board - I wanted to voice this to the board in open forum.

I had not traded with anyone - other than the Newbie Sampler. My first real 'trade' went like this.

I feel like I was set up. I was PM'd by a member of this board and asked if I would like to do a little 5'er trade. The smokes were very inexpensive and I sent my end right away since I was leaving town.

I notified 'individual' upon my return and he said that he was sending his end. He had to PM for my addy, as I do not have it in my profile.

Well I received the package today and I think that I was lead into a booby trap. Can't say bomb, because bombers originally know the location of their target. This was definatley not a fair trade - my send was exactly what I thought it was supposed to be. the return was, to say the least, generous. May have not been intended as a bomb. At a minimun, it was a very lop-sided trade.

I have thanked the brother by PM, but want to make sure everyone else knew (if you did not already) that NullSmurf is one hell of a brother. And apparently pretty slick.

Tolije, I experienced the same thing on a couple of occasions. I fely really crappy the first time because while I had sent out exactly what the deal was, I got a boatload in return. I PMed a couple of FOGs I trusted and they said that person was probably just passing forward a favour another Brother had done before to him.

Leave it to be said that after my next trip to Cuba, those two are gonna need new maiboxes.

You know who you are Boys :whistling: !!!

The art of passing it forward is one to be admired and emulated.

Bruce is a great BOTL, I've been the receiving end of one of his attacks myself and it was nasty!

Well done Bruce!

Way to go Bruce. The joy of sending out a lopsided trade or blinder is greater by many times the joy of receiving one(and that's not too shabby, either!)

It was a low end trade. Pictures of my humi LOOK impressive until you start looking at the bands. I just have a bigger yard gar collection that he does. :sign:

It was my pleasure, Tony. Pass it forward!
