I tried my luck asking for info on this on a different forum a few years ago; I didn't get any replies and I forgot about the box until "re-finding" it just recently. From what I can gather, Dunhill simultaneously had production facilities in Cuba, the Canary Islands, and elsewhere? Does anyone know anything about this particular box/line? I know it's not worth anything; I'm just really curious about the history/story behind this box. Thanks!!

My church is preparing for its annual flea market, so we've been completely swamped with truckloads of donations. Today, while sorting out the various odds and ends to be sold, I found an old (empty, unfortunately....) cigar box which was holding a small collection of older coins. I paid a buck for the box itself and left the coins. It's a Dunhill Seleccion Suprema H. Upmann box. I guess the H. Upmann brand was owned or licensed by Dunhill back in the day. However, I can't figure out anything about this particular box, despite looking all over Google. It once held 25 "Topacios", and the cigars were made in the Canary Islands. The stamped box code is extraordinarily faded, but three numbers are still visible - 960. I'm guessing this may indicate 1960? However, I could be reading it upside down, and it could be a "069", haha. There is also some stamped writing near the number. It's even harder to read, but I think it MIGHT say "New York", or something similar. I'm far from positive about that guess, though. Can anyone give me some information about this box, like year/place/brand of origin, or other info? I'd really appreciate it. Here are a few pics:
