I did a search under the review string but not much was there. Anyone have a constructive opinion on these smokes? The only reviews I have found are on the net and seem to be "unbiased" reviews by the retailers who sell them :whistling: . I usually like medium to full bodied smokes so any ifo pointing me in the right direction would be great.

They're not bad but not great.
If I'm going to buy one, it is usually from their Metropolitian series.
I mostly go there because of the history of the store.

This is one of my favorite sticks for the money. I usually go for the Metropolitan or VIP lines. They smoke incredibly well IMHO. I would suggest picking them up here Linky, and saving yourself a few bucks.

Going to the store is fun. Smoking upstairs isn't as cool as, say, going to Merchants or Velvet, but there's definitely a feeling of history.

As far as the smokes... I've only had samples from the Metropolitan series as well. I recall them tasting very smooth and decent, but not full-bodied.

A couple years in a row I bought my brother Metropolitan sample packs for XMAS... until he discovered JR's store a few blocks to the north of Nat's. Now my brother's hooked on the JRs bundles you buy downstairs, the knock-offs. :whistling: I've tried everything to cure him, but nothing has worked...not even an Opus X sampler I put together. Poor guy. Hopefully none of you fine CPers have a family situation like this. The feelings of hopelessness are tough to deal with. Although on the bright side...at least he isn't an Anejo whore.

btw...try the Metropolitans as a good place to start.

I find them to be rather bland in general. I do however lean to the stronger smoking more flavorful type cigars. JMHO!
