Need some advice

We are thinking about a trip to the DR, and I was needing some advice on where to stay, site seeing, etc. Also, would like to know what is available as far as cigar stores, factory tours, etc. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

you can usually find some good deals on www.travelzoo.com
i went on a trip there a couple years ago, but i didn't visit any cigar factories while i was there.
if you wanna visit a couple different places you might need to rent a car, but there might also be buses going to some of the more major locations. also, there are a couple different regions and traveling between them does take time, i heard a couple hot spots were in la romana in the east and a couple hours north of santo domingo.
