Does anyone know of a good wireless surveillance kit (approx 6 cameras, or add as you need them) with internet streaming? I want to setup camera's around the perimeter of my house, and also point one on the koi pond. I have Egrets eating my koi fish, lost about 7 fish yesterday. I'm going to put a net over the pond for now, but would also like to be able to view the property while away from home.

If 4 camera would be enough for you, a fairly economic and effective program I use is called "iCam"

http://skjm.com/icam/

Using just standard USB web cameras (I got 4 off ebay for about $40 including shipping) You can use all 4 web cameras hooked up to 1 pc, or 4 different PCs with 1 camera each, you can watch all 4 camera at once either on your iPhone or Ipod Touch (Wifi) or on a Web interface.

Using the iPhone app you can choose 1 camera and zoom in to that 1 camera.

I think the App is $2.99 on Iphone, and then the Server side of the Application is free on their website.

Do you mean wireless as in the cameras run on batteries or can the cameras plug into AC power and transmit the video via wireless?

Bitaemo, why do you do this on a regular basis?

I open a thread and you quoted someone, with no other information(that I can tell).
OK - so I have to go back and see what you posted...after you set a place holder!

As for the cameras...we use some at work, nothing special just a quick 'search' and looked for some good reviews.
They have seperate ip's so you can log in to each one. They also' save' a still shot every 'x' minutes depending on how you set it up.

Gary, when Rod realizes he doesn't meet the requirements to post an ISO, his post is now recorded for posterity. :D :sign:

I have a TrendNet TV-IP600W that is a PTZ camera that is plugged into an AC outlet that transmits video to my wireless router. It is accessible over the internet from anywhere and allows me to pan and tilt.

It's a decent little camera but I don't know if they make a battery pack for it to make it 100% wireless.

On a regular basis? As far as I know, this is the first time Ive ever done this.

(Besides the Pvt Mathew thing the other day which I edited to delete)

In any event, I accidentaly hit Add reply before I pasted in my reply I wrote in Wordpad.. WOW.

I updated my post...it may be that I have to go back and check things out. But yes, this has happened to me a few times in the recent past.
