Damaged cigars can also be good for "patching" other cigars with a bit of pectin. I've done this before, where a one cigar was damaged and began unwrapping, so I used the wrapper to patch other cigars that had damaged or split wrappers. Worked pretty good.

Treat it like crumble cake pipe tobacco and pack it in a bowl

Might want to wrap it in a damp napkin first
