New Camacho Scorpion release . . .

First of all, has anyone tried both the new release and the originals? Any thoughts on how they compare?

Secondly, does anyone know if the Scorpion is or will be released in a maduro version, like the 11/18?

I have had the original. I need to test out the new one. The original was a good stick. I can't recall details because it was a while ago. If i get the chance to head to the B&M this week I will see if they have any. I'll update ASAP if I can get my hands on either the new or old. If they do, and you can't get a hold of any, let me know.

Thanks . . . I smoked my way through a box of the originals and liked them very, very much. :love:

But I'm aware that those had lots of age in the equation, as well having been a special production---so possibly more care, a slightly tweaked blend, a more rigorously selected wrapper. Haven't seen any reports yet on how the re-release compares.

But having had quite a few of the 11/18 shape in the maduro wrapper . . . oh, man. The original-quality Scorpion would have been superb that way.

I have four left from a box of the originals, they're my absolute favorite Camacho cigar. Good to hear the new release is up to par :thumbs:
