These are a lot of questions newbies face. Some are obvious, some are not. I am sure some of the newer guys feel like it is a daunting task keeping up with the FOG’s…I would like to see a couple FOG’s lead a forum about the different intricacies of this group, and then some one take the bull by the horns and write up a complete FAQ. After writing up this FAQ, make it mandatory to read it and pass a simple test on this FAQ to be a member. This will encourage people to say once they join, and fend off the non-believers…
So, here is my challenge to the FOG’s…Make up a better FAQ, and then, let’s make sure people don’t feel obligated to pass, trade, gift expensive sticks.

Hey Emo, we got you and me, that's 2 FOGs, tho I ain't been around too long yet, I think I figured out how to make it. Maybe the newbies will take a look at this thread and ask their Qs here. Then you, me and a few other FOGs can answer them here. They can come here and ask anything they want to know, and whatever is said here, is off limits for any ribbing or hard times that they sometimes get in other threads. Not that there is much of that here, but you know what I mean.
 
I agree no ribbing...but I dont have enuff time on this board to be considered and FOG... That's why I am putting FOG's on the spot...

All FOG's that are FNG's need OJT while here @ CP. While you are an FOG wherever you work, you are an FNG here and DNS. So all FOG's that are FNG's @CP need to STFU and learn from the FOG's. Now if the FOG's that are FNG's had ESP, the FOG's at CP wouldn't need to tell the FNG's to STFU and listen... Please don't take this the wrong way...Was all in jest...

Makes up about %10 of the weight...so take it from there

When the cigars are put in the box, and it doesnt quite close, so the company closes the lid and tacks it down. Makes the rectangular.

Beetle eggs are in just sbout every cigar.

The soil, the wrapper, the growers, the seed, the rollers, the ageing...

A cedar spill if you are that pretentios, other wise a butane lighter works good. One of those high pressure butane lighters work great.

10. Are there any good cigar magazines with well-writen articles about cigars?
Yes...Try one of each and find out how there different.

11. Does George W. Bush smoke cigars?
Probably smokes what ever he feels like.

Depends if I want to smoke it past the band. I am not pretentious, so the whole band thing doesnt get to me. Somebody told me once people did that so others wouldn't know they were smoking non-cubans.

Depends if I want to smoke it past the band. I am not pretentious, so the whole band thing doesnt get to me. Somebody told me once people did that so others wouldn't know they were smoking non-cubans.

are there people (other than celebs. and politicians) who smoke Cubans everytime? or do they want to pretend. Im the same take it off when I smoke it all the way down otherwise I leave it on
 
My educated guess is there are a few people in here who smoke Cubans exclusively except for the occasional PAM/PAN, Opus, Ashton VSG, top shelf, etc...Don't get caught up in what others pass, trade, gift others...If someone I am herfing with takes it off, so be it. I smoke $1 cigars the same as I do $5, $10, $20, $40 cigars, band on.
