New Texas Guv

I saw this guy walking around the UT campus with a small army in step and he had a robusto in hand. Apparently he is the new guv-na canidate and is never seen in public without a cigar.

He will never win in Texas, maybe Austin, but not Texas. Still an entertaining guy all a round.

This guy is an absolute hoot. His slogan used to read something like, George W. Bush did it, how hard could it be? Kinky was a singer and is now an accomplished writer. Very interesting character.

You ain't seen nothing until you saw Kinky Friedman & the Texas Jewboys at a gig. His lyrics were just as interesting as the name. I especially liked A**hole from ElPasso, Ride 'Em Jewboy and Wild Man From Borneo. :thumbs:

My favorite Kinky song is "They Ain't Makin Jews Like Jesus Anymore". He is a frequent guest on IMUS and was on a couple weeks ago kicking off his campaign. They ain't makin guys like Kinky anymore, either.

Yeah the guy seems like a real character, he writes some good articles for Texas Monthly. I wonder what he smokes?
