:) just wanted to log in and say hello. been lurking here and decided to join you guys and try to learn a little and share some experiences.My first experience with a real cigar was on my honeymoon in janof this year on the island of St. Lucia. I had purchased 2-5 packs of cohiba siglo I's at the resort. From what I have read and seen, they were genuine article (I kept the bands and the box to bust my father-in-laws beans, as he is a cigar smoker as well) Before that I won my first humidor at my office christmas party with some crappy bundled cigars. I have since moved up to some great Arturo Fuente Hemingway short stories, Padron 1964 Anni's (torpedo's) and a few others from a sampler pack.I have fallen in love with maduro's, and the wife even likes a few I have sampled (drew estates Acid blondies for her) Well,as I stated, I am a noob, so please be gentle! Take care... Rob :)
 
Welcome, Rob. CP is a great place on the net to be (though we do get a little pissy with each other now and then.) :D

Welcome to CP!! I just ordered a box of Padrons yesterday from that place in East Greenwich and I missed the Newport St Patrick's Day Parade last weekend for the first time in ten years :(

One "h" (Escoheag) but close enough :laugh: WOW Swifty, now THAT is the quintessential middle of NOWHERE :0 :0 right near Beach Pond and Arcadia (hey Rod, we have an "Arcadia" here too :D ).

Actually, I'm probably closer to Escoheag than Rob is :p
