I am now pondering what to get next. Out of the sampler I had the maduro fuentes Chateuas were my favorites followed by the Montecristo Platinum and number 2, then the Torano and Padrons. I did not care for the Upmann. The rocky patels vintage were good, but they did not hold my attention for long. Anyone have suggestions for another sampler or purchase?

Not necessarily another choice suggestion, but I would definately re-visit the RP Vintage after you've tried a few other sticks. They have many subtle nuances that you may be more aware of after some time. Good luck!

On second thought, I do have a suggestion for you. Try yourself a CAO Italia. I like it much more than their popular Brazillia. It's a nice medium to full taste that's unique from most other flavors.

The devil (CI/C-bid) has a maduro sampler here:

This sampler was my first (No. I rather than No. II though) when I
started smoking in late spring. It was an excellent intro to cigars.
If you go to the devil's auction, you can get it at a good discount, too.
Be patient on the auctions.
