I understand that these Hoyo bands were used on pre-2001 HDM machine made cigars like the Palmas Extra

Cool, where did you get this one from?

A lot of the old bands are very similar to this style. Not showy at all, letting the flavour do the talking. That always is a sign of a good cigar for me. A lot of crappier sticks have flashy bands to suck you in.

I've smoked through two boxes of 2002 Hoyo Palmas... nice smoke for the price!
