I keep reading in various places in the media where Visa, MC, etc. are all now not processing orders for tobacco products sold on line. Yet, last time I ordered some products on line (last week) my order got processed without a hitch.

What am I missing? Can someone whack me with the "clue by four"...??

Thanks - B.B.S.

A recent order would not be processed by PayPal because it was for tobacco products (cigars), and not cigarettes.

That's not good!! :angry2:

Anyone know if this extends to Visa / MC endorsed Debit cards? I don't have a credit card (except the Gov card) but use my Debit for all online purchases....

I'm in the same boat. I don't do "credit" cards but do have a debt card from my bank that says "Visa" on it. My understanding is that it would extend to these cards as it still is Visa on the front and they are the folks that do the processing.

I live over the river from Portland, OR in Washington (actually work in OR). Has anyone seen what the folks in OR are up against?

Here's a link. Scroll down to secton 72 and check that out. Holeee ****.....

They be comin' after us, folks....:angry2:

Edit - heh...stars....sorry, mods. :whistling:
