OPUS Sighting

I actually saw the UPS guy drop the packages of Opus off at Lonsdale's in Scottsdale AZ today. I decided to try my first ever Graycliff Pirate Blue Label (which was friggin awesome) and while smoking it, the Opus showed up. I picked up a Perfection #4 and a Fuente Fuente Double Corona? I have never had and Opus ever in my life so I was kind of excited. Double whammy in one day! He got at least 6 boxes (1 each of different sizes) of Opus though he is only selling 1 at a time. I will let these 2 sleep a bit and have on a special occasion.

The most he would have got for Opus is 5 boxes and not 6 this shipment. But good for you that you can get them. :thumbs:

UPDATE: Tinderbox in Mesa, AZ has 5 boxes of Opus for reasonable prices with a 2 per day limit. They have Perfection #4 and 5, Robustos, Super Belis and one more I can't remember. The #4 was priced at $10.75. I can tell you that Lonsdale's is gouging big time. The same #4 at Lonsdale's is going for $17.63.

Why couldn't he have got 6 boxes of Opus? The shop I used to go to in Charlottesville got 6 boxes this shipment.

Not every shop gets the same number of boxes. Some get more, some get less.

I have a thing coming up toward the end of the month. I don't want to instill some sence of urgancy, but I am noob and don't want to get ripped off much more then I have recently :whistling:. Anyone have a deal online I can get one some Opus X? Any vitola is fine.

Not every shop gets the same number of boxes. Some get more, some get less.

As a rule the Opus shipments are 6 boxes. Our shipment this time was 5 and were told everyone received 5 boxes this shipment.
It would not surprise me to hear that a few shops did receive their full 6 boxes.

There is no other allotment tier, 6 boxes 4 times a year, 24 boxes total per year per door.
