So, I've heard many times how great these cigars become with age and after experiencing it myself all I can say is "wow". I bought a bunch of these cigars a year ago and haven't touched them in 6 months. After somking a few when I first got them, I found the spiciness not too my liking. It was just too peppery and it was difficult to taste any other flavors in the cigar.
Well, a year of age has completely changed the taste of the cigar. The spiciness is still there just without the peppery flavor. And, most importantly, I could taste wonderful flavors of nuts, leather and wood that just didn't seem to be there before.
No more uneven burn either. It stayed lit and burned evenly the entire time. Where before that last third of the cigar got too spicy for my liking, this time the spiciness increased a bit but so did the nutiness which made for a great finishing combination.
