Aliens Versus Predator Classic 2000 features the Colonial Marine, Alien and Predator Campaigns and the frenetic single-player Skirmish mode from the original title: Alien Versus Predator Gold Edition, which was released to massive acclaim in 2000.

Alien Versus Predator Classic 2000 has been updated to run on modern PCs and laptops using DirectX 9.0c and includes support for Xbox 360 Controller for Windows, however, it does not currently support multi-player.

I went and bought it and wow its nice to be able to play AvP again on a modern system. One of the best games of the last 10 years. If you have it and can't play it due to having a new system... GET IT! If you've never played it before OMG GET IT!

I remember that game quite vividly. One thing I couldn't forget was playing as the Marine and having the motion sensor active, the area being all quiet.... except for one little blip on the sensor. Just makes you freeze and listen even harder to find out if something is coming at you. Predator was my favourite character to play as.

There are tons of great remakes and updates on steam and I think that is awesome. Like the original Deus Ex, all for great prices.

I didn't own AvP, but one of my buddies did back in the day. We used to play it a good bit. I remember being on the edge of the seat quite often. It was a very solid shooter, and that is saying something for being out back in the hay days of FPSs.

Wurm, you gona pick up the new AvP? I've heard and read some good things about it.
