Ok...I've finally touched based with a gar brother from a cigar board. Met up with MetsFan from over at CW. Great guy. Had a good time drinking some beer and talkin shop.
He happily gifted me a Partagas No.4(isom)...WOW!!! Awesome smoke. Great lookin robusto...well wrapped... and impressive on site.
This is a well balanced smoke. Lots of flavor...not overwhelming...but possesed alot of body. If you are looking for a great robusto(isom) this is probably it.
Construction was perfect...could have held a lone ash through the entire smoke if I tried. Nice firm ash with an even burn.
Very nice almond flavor...with a hint of cocao. Flavor stayed even through the entire smoke.
My next box purchase was goning to be Juan Lopez#2's...but this gar may have changed my mind.
