Ok... I just need to vent...

I know its still currently the holiday shipping season but I feel like this has gotten so much worse in the past couple years though.

Does anybody feel like 2 day priority mail is completely not even a thing anymore?? And does anyone else feel like they just change the amount of days the priority is for on a whim? I've seen the shipping page say "1-day priority, 2-day priority, 3-day priority, etc.

So frustrating! Ok the end.
 
I don't know. Haven't been to the post office in over a year. I do know that things I receive seem to get here in 2 days, sometimes 3. Odd thing is that a lot of times I get stuff from cross country closer to the 2 day mark (sooner than closer states). If in my same state, it is not uncommon to get it the next day.
 
Priority now seems to be 2-3 days and during holidays or when they misplace your package seems to be much longer.
 
I heard that it's due to a much higher volume of packages being shipped this holiday than previous years, so it's caused everything to sort of slow down. Whether that's even true or just some bs excuse, have no idea. But yes, very annoying!
 
Funny thing is I seem to get my group buy items before the others. Never figured out how they get it to Hawaii so fast.
 
Don't start me on the post office, you would have to cover your eyes, and if you could hear me, your ears... Frustrating is an understatement... Not just that, but handing a box of $400 cigars over a fence to a 80 lb German Shepherd, not just once, but 3 times... errrrrr!!!!!

Our post office is generally good. First class gets it anywhere in the country overnight, provided you get it in before the days ship time. Of course the country is smaller than many states, the train from the north to the south takes about 4 hours. They have done a good job of getting my packages to the US, the stall is always on the USPS side of things. I sent my SS package priority and it was in the US in 3-4 days then sat in customs for longer (or at least felt that way).

Yes, it's true. Online retailing is increasing dramatically.
 
Holy sh*t! I need to vent now too...stupid post office. Just now, waited in line for 30 minutes to be told I can't be helped by anyone but the supervisor. Some lady has the nerve to cut in front of me to see him, won't listen to me and helps her, then the MFer disappears for a whole hour looking for her crap then basically says he can't help me. Wow. Over an hour and a half of standing there for that. :mad:

Im pretty certain I would have stabbed my mail carrier in the face a few times. :O
