As some of you know, I'm in Poland and as hopefully all of you know, Poland is a very Catholic country, which can lead to some pretty mind boggling situations. Usually it's pretty ho-hum, but for the past week, the media here has been reporting about a miracle near Krakow, Pope John Paul II's old stomping grounds, involving a Pope JPII statue and spirting water.

Well, the story disappeared for a while. However, trusty fark.com had this follow-up:

Being Polish and all, I hate to think how this might give credence to those dumb Polak jokes that have been dying out. Then again, this happens in almost every country way too often to be blamed on one ethnicity...
