And here is my 3DMark Vantage score with only one GPU, I'll need to update it with the SLI score once I buy the full version since they only let you run it one time with the free version

So what are you guys running? I know I'm not the only gamer here...

*edit* Since BBS made me remember one of the most important parts of my Setup... Samsung Syncmaster 2243nw 22 inch wide screen monitor.

I don't even know what the hell you just wrote, but it looks like you have a cool setup. I wish I knew how to build a computer, maybe my next hobby.. :whistling:

Mine is pretty close to junkmans - company issued HP Compaq 6910p laptop............woo hoo!

iPhone is all I use anymore. Looking for a cheap 9 or 10" netbook for school, though.

I used to be a hardcore gamer... Played Everquest for 5 years, WoW, Age of Conan, Eve and several other different MMORPGs. Bought my current laptop and haven't gamed so much anymore. I was running out of space for all my other hobbies in my room so I needed something smaller then a normal desktop that was somewhat portable.

I'm on a HP Pavilion HDX9010NR
2.20 GHz Intel® Centrino® Duo processor
2 gigs RAM (need to upgrade to 4 gigs)
Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit (I need to upgrade to Windows 7)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT
and the reason I bought this laptop a 20.1 inch screen.

I have a second desktop (which isn't worth mentioning the specs of) that is stored away in the closet which I use as a server for all my mp3s, movies, and applications.

Decided to stop screwing around and went and picked up the fastest CPU my AM2+ Mobo can handle...

That OC wasn't even trying, I just might have to see how far it will go on the weekend, but I'm pretty damn happy.

You're running AMD processor and board with NVidia graphics cards? My tech guy told me I should stay either all AMD or all Intel. I guess its working for you without problems.

My system is getting very old, but I do game on it. Building a new system as we speak.

Currently:
P4 3.0 ghz
2 GB DDR
1x 40 GB HD
1x 500 GB HD
Radeon Pro 9800 (AGP lol)

Those solid state drives are sexy. Hopefully the prices continue to drop on them.

Interesting. What brand of video card does he recommend for Intel boards....??

LMAO!

Pyre, it doesn't matter one damn bit... You can mix and match however you want. I just happen to prefer Nvidia Chipsets and SLi compared to AMD Chipsets and Crossfire.

And I haven't bought an ATI graphic card yet and don't ever plan on it in the future. Nothing wrong with the new ones, but having to do support on a bunch of Rage Cards back in the day, soured me on ATI for good.

Mother Board: She lives in Florida and is 92yo

Graphics: Bi-Focals...and they need an immediate upgrade

Sound: Two hairy ears running at about 50% efficiency due to too many live concerts...I'm thinking Miracle Ear as an upgrade

Processor: 54yo brain...still runs, but a bit slow. Jagdish in Tech Support said that the mother board is so old, the processor can't be upgraded

Heat sink: Converted over to boxers...much cooler than briefs. When I overclock the processor and produce excessive heat, I free-ball it

Memory: Very little, I forget more than I remember...not sure if this can be upgraded

Boot Drive: Sometimes Viagra...sometimes Cialis

Storage: Quite a bit, the belt line looks like I'm training to be Professional Speed Food Eater

Case: Mini Tower...way too short for what the Storage Drive contains
