get this, when you need to measure something and you need a third hand, this is mighty handy. the powered tape will extend up to 7ft. before it bends and retracts with the release of the lock. such a deal1 sears for $24.95 ths tape is 25ft, long.

These things are great!

I got one of the Black and Decker models for my Father in law last Fathers day and he loves it. I borrowed it a time or two and I loved it. The only complaint I had was the battery life, but that may have just been the cheap ass batteries he put in it.

Very handy!
