Pride Mountain Viogner

This is the first viogner I tried that was super sweet...like a Muscato dessert wine.

I heard great reviews about Pride Mountain in Napa...especially about the Late Harvest Fortified Viogner.

The worker at Pride Mountain gave me a taste...I was speechless.
I ended up buying 2 bottles @ around $50 each!
He explained to me that they normally don't give-out tastes of the Viogner (I guess I lucked out).

I'll try to describe the flavors:


lots of honey
mellow white peach
fuji/green apple
apricot
hint of acidity
slightly viscous
rich and sweet


For those that like sweet dessert wines...I highly recommend this wine.

Wow, didn't realize it could get that complicated.
