I am having problems accessing Yahoo’s homepage. I started having problems this weekend, and at first thought it might be my firewall or something messing it up…I am using Windows XP firewall, which has not given me problems. Anyway, I think I’ve ruled that out. The funny thing is I can access all other yahoo services, such as launch and email…it’s just the stupid homepage. I’ve switched homepages for the time being, and I have spent quite a while looking for a way to contact yahoo for support, but of course, I have not found anything. I figured instead of keeping up this stupid search, I would see if any BOTLs can offer some advice as to what might be going on.

By chance is this the page? http://dsl.sbc.yahoo.com/
Thats my home page for my yahoo dsl account... and it dos load, but they have had some specific problems the last few days. Yesterday the 3 political comics I have set up for the page didnt load. Today other specific customized content didn't load (top 4 stories of the day).

Scan for spyware. You probably have spyware which is preventing you from accessing yahoo. Download adaware.
 
Thanks for all the reply's guys. After dorking around with my antivirus (Norton), I figured out that my Home Page Protector was enabled and that was somehow blocking the yahoo homepage. I disabled it, and it works fine now. Thanks! :)
